Set your firm's rules with a rule pack

Pick your firm and program to fill in an account's limits, check them against your firm's current rules, and set how Breach Guard acts.

Updated October 12, 2026

Every tracked account carries its firm's limits: the daily loss limit, the max loss limit, whether max loss is static or trailing, and for challenges the profit target and day rules. A rule pack fills these in for you. Breach Guard, the Terminal and copy guards all read them.

Add an account with a rule pack

  1. 01

    Open Add account

    In Accounts, choose Add account.

  2. 02

    Choose the firm and program

Pick the Firm. For HyroTrader and Crypto Fund Trader, also pick the Program (for example Two-Step or 1 Phase): its limits fill in straight away. For any other firm, pick Common 2-step or Common 1-step under Rules as a starting point.

  3. 03

    Pick the size and stage

Choose the Account size (the starting balance) and the Stage: Challenge, Verification or Funded. With a program picked, only its sizes and stages are offered, and the limits follow the stage.

  4. 04

    Check every number

Each program shows the date we last checked it against the firm's site, with links to the sources. Firms change their rules, so compare with your own terms. You can edit any field: the form marks the program Edited, and Use the firm's rules puts its numbers back.

  5. 05

    Set trading and protection

Set Risk per trade, Breach Guard acts at, whether your firm allows copying between your accounts, and when its daily limit resets (see below).

  6. 06

    Save

Choose Add account. Then connect its key and link it (see Connect an exchange account).

What each rule means

  • Daily loss limit: the most the account may lose in one firm day, as a % of the starting size.
  • Max loss limit: the most it may lose in total, as a % of the starting size.
  • Static max loss: the floor never moves, always the same distance below the starting size.
  • Trailing max loss: the floor rises with your best balance, until it reaches the starting size.
  • Profit target, Min trading days and Time limit: for challenge and verification stages only.

Trading and protection

  • Risk per trade (default 0.5%): the Terminal sizes every trade so its stop costs this share of the account.
  • Breach Guard acts at (default 90% of each limit, from 50 to 100): where new risk is blocked. Tighten it, never past the firm's line.
  • Copying between your accounts at this firm: Allowed, Forbidden or Not sure. Forbidden means one order never goes to two accounts at this firm; Not sure shows a warning before copying.
  • Daily limit resets at: the firm's reset hour in UTC. If you're not sure, the strictest reading is used: a rolling 24 hours.
  • Max per order and Max leverage: optional caps on any single order.
