Terms of service
The agreement for using the website, the app and Surge Copilot, written to be read.
Last updated 10 October 2026
By creating an account or using TradeSurge you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service. Questions go to [email protected].
What TradeSurge is
TradeSurge is software for traders who run accounts at exchanges and prop firms. It shows those accounts in one place, checks trades against the limits you set, copies trades between your own accounts, and can act on your accounts under the rules you configure, for example by blocking new entries or closing positions before a limit is reached.
- We are not a broker, an exchange or a prop firm. We don't execute trades on our own account, we don't hold your funds, and we can't move money in or out of your accounts.
- We don't give investment advice. Nothing in the service, including Surge Copilot, tells you what to buy or sell. Calculations, rule checks and answers are information, not recommendations.
- TradeSurge is in private alpha. Features change, and some are marked as coming soon. Access is by invitation.
Your account and your keys
- You must be old enough to enter a binding contract where you live, and allowed to trade there.
- Keep your password and devices secure, and tell us at once if you think your account is compromised.
- Connect only API keys for accounts you are allowed to operate, with trading permission and without withdrawal permission. We refuse keys that can withdraw or transfer funds out.
- You can revoke a key in the app at any time. Revoking stops TradeSurge from acting on that account.
Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for your trading decisions, the orders you confirm, and the settings you choose, such as risk per trade, copy sizing, guards and margins.
- You are responsible for knowing and following your prop firm's and exchange's rules. The rules you enter in TradeSurge are only as accurate as what you enter, and firms can change their rules.
- Copying trades between accounts may be restricted by some firms. Check your firm's terms before you copy.
- Don't misuse the service: no attempts to break its security, overload it, or access others' data.
Breach Guard and automation are best effort
Breach Guard and copy trading depend on the exchange, the network and our servers all working. Exchange outages, rejected orders, fast markets, slippage, latency, incorrect rule settings or our own downtime can mean an action happens late, partly, or not at all. TradeSurge reduces the chance of a breach; it can't guarantee you won't have one. Keep stop losses at the exchange on every position. See the risk disclosure.
Plans, trial and billing
- Plans are paid subscriptions, billed monthly or yearly through Stripe. A yearly plan costs 10 months. Current prices are on the pricing page.
- A new subscription starts with a 7-day free trial. A card is required, and the first charge is taken when the trial ends unless you cancel before then.
- You can cancel at any time from the app. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
- If a payment fails or a plan ends, your account becomes read-only: no new entries, copies or keys. Closing positions always works, and Breach Guard keeps protecting open positions until they are flat.
- We'll tell you before a price change applies to your subscription.
Availability and changes
We work to keep TradeSurge available, but we don't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, suspend or retire features, and we'll give notice of material changes where we can.
Ending your use
You can stop using TradeSurge and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts other users or the service at risk, and we'll tell you why unless the law or security prevents it.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, TradeSurge is provided “as is”, and we aren't liable for trading losses, lost funded accounts, evaluation fees, lost profits, or indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the service, including when an automated action is late or doesn't happen. Where liability can't be excluded, it is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the event. Nothing here limits rights you have that can't be limited by law.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll update the date above and tell signed-up users by email before the change takes effect. Continuing to use TradeSurge after that means you accept the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws that apply to the operator of TradeSurge, without affecting consumer protections you have where you live. If there's a dispute, contact us first at [email protected]; most problems are solved faster that way.
