Create a trade-only Binance API key
Make a Binance key with Enable Reading and Enable Futures only, on an account whose USDⓈ-M Futures wallet is open.
Updated October 12, 2026 · Exchange menus checked September 28, 2026
Coming soon. TradeSurge accepts Bybit keys today; this exchange opens once Breach Guard and copying have passed a demo run on it. The steps are here so you're ready.
Before you start
- Complete identity verification (KYC), turn on 2FA and deposit any amount to your Spot wallet to activate the account.
- Open your USDⓈ-M Futures account before you create the key. A key made earlier can't get Enable Futures.
- Portfolio Margin accounts can't enable Futures on an API key.
Create a key for live trading (Production)
- 01
Open API Management
Profile icon → Account → API Management → Create API. In the app: More → Other → API Management.
- 02
Choose System-generated
Name the key, then verify with your 2FA device or passkey. You get an API key and a Secret Key.
- 03
Edit restrictions
Click Edit restrictions. Tick Enable Reading and Enable Futures, nothing else.
- 04
Restrict to trusted IPs
Binance only lets a system-generated key trade Futures when it's restricted to trusted IPv4 addresses. Without that, a live key can only read.
- 05
Copy the key and the secret
Save the Secret Key when it's shown.
Create a key for Binance Demo Trading (Demo)
- 01
Open Demo Trading
Go to demo.binance.com and log in with your usual Binance account (or Trade → Demo Trading).
- 02
Create the key in Demo
Account icon → API Management → Create API, and name it.
- 03
Copy the key and the secret
Demo keys don't need KYC or a live Futures account, and only work in TradeSurge's Demo environment.
Tick
- Tick: Enable Reading
- Tick: Enable Futures
Leave off
- Leave off: Enable Withdrawals
- Leave off: Permits Universal Transfer
- Leave off: Enable Margin Loan, Repay & Transfer
- Leave off: Enable Spot & Margin Trading
- Leave off: Options, FIX and Portfolio Margin items
Removing the key
On Binance, open API Management and delete the key.
In TradeSurge, open Copy trading, select the key under Broker connections and revoke it. The encrypted copy is deleted from our servers, not just switched off.
