Trade copier comparison for prop traders (2026)

Every trade copier says it is the best one for prop traders. The honest answer is that the right copier depends on where you trade (futures, MetaTrader or crypto), how many accounts you run, and how much protection you want around each account's rules.

This comparison uses each vendor's own pages where we could find them, seen on 10 October 2026, and marks third-party figures as such. Prices and features change, so check the vendor's current page. We make TradeSurge, which is in this list; we have tried to be fair, including where other tools are a better fit.

What to look for in a copier#

1. Platform fit#

Start with where your accounts live. Futures prop traders on Tradovate or Rithmic have the widest choice. MetaTrader traders have mature cloud copiers. Crypto prop traders have the fewest options built for prop rules.

2. Sizing per account#

A copier should size every follower from its own balance and risk, not send the same size everywhere. Look for multipliers at minimum, and ideally risk-based sizing that rounds down to the venue's minimum step.

3. Prop-rule awareness#

Copying makes accounts move together. The important question is what happens when one follower is close to its daily or maximum loss limit. Does the copier skip it, warn you, or send the trade anyway? Does anything flatten an account before the firm's line?

4. A way to stop everything#

When markets move fast you want one control that pauses every copy group, and you want closing positions to work no matter what.

5. Hosting#

Cloud copiers keep running when your computer is off. Desktop and add-on copiers need your machine or a VPS online.

6. Price at your account count#

Some tools charge per account, some per login with unlimited accounts. Work out the cost at the number of accounts you actually run.

Tool by tool#

Tradesyncer#

A cloud copier focused on futures prop accounts. Its blog announces daily risk controls for Tradovate and integrations with prop platforms. A strong choice if your accounts are on Tradovate or Rithmic. Plans seen from $49/month.

Tradecopia#

Built for running many futures prop accounts, with copy groups and quantity multipliers, plus a large library of learning content. Its documentation says it does not support crypto, forex, equities or CFDs. Pricing seen from $49.99/month for the desktop app; hosted plans cost more.

PickMyTrade#

A cloud futures copier that turns one TradingView alert or manual trade into orders on many accounts, with per-account multipliers and several stop-loss and take-profit methods. Flat pricing ($50/month or $500/year) covers unlimited accounts under one login. Its futures copier page does not list crypto exchanges or MetaTrader.

Duplikium#

A long-running cloud copier for MetaTrader, cTrader and other platforms across brokers, priced per account (from €9/month, lower at volume). A good fit if your prop accounts sit on MetaTrader at different brokers.

Replikanto#

A NinjaTrader add-on for copying between accounts locally or remotely. Third-party listings show low one-time or annual licence prices; we couldn't confirm them on the vendor's page. It needs NinjaTrader running.

TradeSurge#

Built for crypto prop traders, starting with Bybit (Binance, OKX and Bitget are coming soon). Accounts connect with trade-only API keys; keys with withdrawal rights are refused.

  • Sizing: each follower is sized per account in R and rounded down to Bybit's step. Followers that fail a check are skipped with a reason.
  • Safety: new copy groups start in dry run, and "Stop all copying" pauses everything without ever blocking an exit.
  • Breach Guard: watches each account on our servers. It stops new entries at your safety margin and flattens with reduce-only orders before the firm's limit.
  • Surge Copilot: answers questions like "how much room is left?" from your own account data. It confirms before changing anything and never recommends trades.
  • Pricing: Pro $79/month for 3 live accounts, Commander $199/month for 10, each with a 7-day trial.

Where it is not the best fit (today): if your prop accounts are futures on Tradovate or Rithmic, or MetaTrader, the tools above support those platforms and TradeSurge doesn't yet.

Which one should you pick?#

  • Futures on Tradovate or Rithmic: Tradesyncer, Tradecopia or PickMyTrade.
  • MetaTrader across brokers: Duplikium.
  • NinjaTrader on your own machine: Replikanto.
  • Crypto prop accounts on Bybit, with a guard on each account: TradeSurge.

Whichever you choose, check that your prop firm allows copy trading between your accounts, and start in a demo or dry-run mode.

FAQ#

Is copy trading allowed by prop firms?#

Many firms allow copying between your own accounts; some restrict it or forbid copying others' signals. Read each firm's current terms.

Do I need a VPS?#

Not for cloud copiers. Desktop or add-on copiers need your machine or a VPS running while you trade.

Can a copier stop me breaching?#

A copier alone sends orders. Look for per-account checks that skip trades when an account has no room, and a guard that flattens before the firm's limit. No tool can promise zero breaches: outages and fast gaps can move an account faster than any order.

Are these prices current?#

They were current on the vendors' pages (or the cited third-party pages) on 10 October 2026. Check before buying.
